Bioware’s New Destiny Like IP May Be Shown Off This E3, Says Report

Interesting, if true.

Bioware’s new IP is slated to be something along the lines of Bungie’s Destiny or Ubisoft’s The Division– and we may get to see more of it at E3 this year, if this new report is to be believed. According to Unseen64’s Liam Robertson (via IBTimes), this new game, codenamed ‘Dylan’, may be shown off at E3 this year.

Apparently, Dylan appropriates elements from both Destiny and The Division, and is the largest game that Bioware has ever worked on (which makes sense, if you think about it- a game of this sort cannot be any small undertaking). Bioware is gearing up to reveal it at E3 this year, presumably at EA’s EA Play show- if so, that’s one notable announcement EA will have, if nothing else.

For now, this remains conjecture and speculation- but Robertson has a good track record for this kind of stuff, so there is no reason to necessarily treat this with more skepticism than necessary. For now, take this with tentative helpings of salt.
