Blizzard Hiring Generalist Artist For New Overwatch Project

The position is for Generalist Artist and will require the intern to work in the summer of 2018.

Overwatch has been immensely popular ever since its release, and Blizzard is now offering a position of Generalist Artist and it is mainly targeted at students. It will be an internship and will require the person to have  “knowledge and understanding” of the Overwatch universe. The job listing also requires that the candidate should have worked on game projects “as a prop artist or an equivalent type role.”

This means that the candidate will have to be familiar with the game’s signature art style and will possibly be required to work along similar lines. The intern will be required to work in the summer of 2018, but as of now we do not have much information regarding what Blizzard is working on.

It could be a spin-off of the main game or perhaps even an expansion to the game. Who knows really. Either way, it should be exciting to see Blizzard expanding one of the best shooters around even further. Overwatch is now available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
