Blizzard Posts Jobs For “Unannounced” Diablo Project

It seems the company isn't being shy about working on a new Diablo.

Diablo 3 Eternal Collection

Well, how about this for an unexpected surprise. Nothing really has been said much about Diablo since the mobile spin-off, Diablo Immortal, was announced (which did not go over too well for the hardcore BlizzCon crowd). Now, out of nowhere, it seems we have some degree of confirmation that Blizzard is working on another project in the IP through some job listings.

On Blizzard’s career website, they have postings for a Lead Concept Artist and a Lead Character Artist. Both very explicitly say, “We’re working on a new, unannounced Diablo project.”

Diablo Immortal is obviously already announced, so that rules it out. Could this be Diablo 4? We also know that Blizzard is looking into more games set in their successful IPs. Only time will tell what this will end up being. If you’re interested at all in working on whatever this is, you can check out the Lead Concept Artist position here and Lead Character Artist one here. For the rest of us, we’ll just have to wait and see. BlizzCon is getting close, after all.
