Bloodborne

The beasts of Yharnam may have been bloodied but they’re far from beaten. From Software’s Bloodborne has been confirmed to receive DLC by SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter.

“So I have been asked by many people if we are making DLC for Bloodborne. I can say… An expansion is coming. More info later this year.”

At this point, it’s safe to assume that Sony will be teasing the expansion or at least revealing more information when E3 2015 rounds the corner. Bloodborne has been a fairly strong success for Sony, selling more than 1 million copies worldwide and far surpassing expectations the company had for the new IP. Don’t be surprised if more content for Bloodborne – or a possible sequel – is announced in the coming years.

What are your thoughts on Bloodborne receiving a new expansion later this year? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information at E3 2015, which begins on June 14th and runs till June 18th.
