There’s been no shortage of Bloodborne-related rumours since- well, pretty much as long as Bloodborne been a thing. Recently, those rumours were given renewed life, with multiple insiders and leakers supposedly teasing that a PC version of the game was on the wayIf those rumours are true, PC might not be the only new platform FromSoftware’s seminal masterpiece might be headed to.

Over on Twitter, Sloth Mom – who was the one who kicked off the recent flurry of reports about a Bloodborne PC port – has stated that a PS5 remaster of the game is also in development. Apparently, FromSoftware are not the ones handling this remaster (which makes sense), but the developer that is working on it is apparently one that Sloth Mom has “a huge amount of faith in” thanks to “other games they’ve ported.” That doesn’t narrow down the pool by a whole lot, but it’s an interesting note nonetheless.

Something else that’s interesting is that Bloodborne’s PS5 and PC remaster was originally going to be announced by Sony at the PS5 games showcase on June 4, which was eventually delayed due to the Black Lives Matter protests in the United States.

As is always the case with leaks and rumours, take this one with a grain of salt, not least because this is Bloodborne we’re talking about, which has been the focus of a great many fakeout leaks in the past. Either way, Sony have said that they’ll be sharing a new date for the delayed PS5 event soon, which means it cannot be too far off, so one way or another, we’ll know for sure just how much truth there is to all this Bloodborne talk.
