Commander Lilith and The Fight for Sanctuary DLC has been available for Borderlands 2 for almost two weeks now. In said time, new farming spots for some of the coveted new loot like Effervescent weapons and Legendaries have been discovered. So what are you waiting for?

First, you need the new DLC which is currently free to download on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The farming strategy requires taking advantage of one-way transport beacon which save your location every time you save, quit and return to the game. The first farming spot is found after completing the Helios Fallen quest and defeating Uranus.

Head to Helios Fallen and use the one-way beacon to go to Fire Control Alpha. You then use the elevator in the hallway just outside of Munitions Loading. Through the doorway is Uranus, freshly respawned, except you can move back down the hall and fight without any risk. After killing him and collecting your drops, save and quit the game. Load it back up and you’ll be back at the beacon and can do another run.

The second spot is at Mt. Scarab Research Center. You need to go all the way to the end of the mission and defeat Cassius. Head to the Research Center – Paradise Bio-Lab one-way beacon. Once you’ve initiated the checkpoint, save and quit. Load the game up again and you’ll be back at the beacon. Loot the chests nearby accordingly. This can be done for as long as you wish.
