Borderlands’ 10th anniversary celebration continues in Gearbox’s Borderlands 3. The looter shooter is currently in week 4 of its five week celebratory event with “Mayhem on Twitch”. Along with upping the rewards on Mayhem Mode, it also ensures some strong rewards for Twitch viewers via the ECHOcast Extension.

While the event is ongoing, players in Mayhem Mode will see an increase in Anointed Gear drops along with increased XP. Many modifiers in the mode which lead to severe penalties will also be reduced, allowing for more mayhem to be unleashed. As for Twitch, Badass Viewers Events – where viewers of a streamer can vote on the buffs that a Badass enemy receives – will happen more frequently.

If you link your SHiFT and Twitch accounts, then Rare Chest Events will offer a 100 percent guaranteed win rate. That means more chances at getting better loot. This is open to those who don’t own Borderlands 3 as well, which is nice. Mayhem on Twitch ends on October 28th but the Bloody Harvest Halloween event will begin tomorrow so now is as good a time as ever to hop back in.
