Ice-T is a famous rapper, producer, and actor, and he has done some voice roles for video games in the past- but could he be lending his voice to yet another game in the near future? A Twitter exchange between him and the official Borderlands account could possibly be hinting at it.
Borderlands 3 was revealed to much fanfare at PAX East, and not long after, Ice-T tweeted, “Gamer Stuff: There’s a rumor that I’m doing a voice in Borderlands 3…” which doesn’t seem like much until the official Borderlands account replied with an equally vague, “Who would start a rumor like that?” In a vacuum it may not seem like much, but between Ice-T making his response specific to a retweet of the Borderlands 3 reveal trailer and the overall timing of the same, could we be hearing his voice in the hotly anticipated game?
Despite being officially revealed, no platforms or release date have been attached to Borderlands 3 as of now. Gearbox, however, have stated that a release date for the game will officially be confirmed tomorrow, on April 3- though it may have already been leaked.
