Borderlands 3

We’ve been waiting a long time for the next installment in the original shooter looter franchise, and we’re only a week away from it with Borderlands 3. Odds are, you know very well if you’re going to be into the game or not, but in case you’re new to the franchise, or just want to check all the boxes, you won’t have to wait too long for reviews.

Metacritic has revealed on Twitter that the review embargo on the game will lift next month on September 9th, at 7 am Pacific Time. The game will release that Friday, so Gearbox and 2K Games are giving us nearly five days of full impressions before the official release date. Thankfully, preload will be available on all versions now, so you can preorder the game if the reviews tickle you the right way.

Borderlands 3 will launch on September 13th. If you’re curious about the game’s extensive post-launch DLC plans, we’ve got you covered with details through here.
