After extending the multiplayer beta on PS4 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 till August 24th, 10 PM PST, Treyarch has also announced a second increase to the level cap. Earlier, the level cap was raised to level 34. It will now be level 40, allowing players to unlock even more upgrades and killstreaks with play-time.

A new Specialist has also been added to the mix with Spectre, who has been described by the developer as “an individual capable of extraordinary stealth, able to evade or neutralize the most sophisticated of manned or automated security set-ups.” It seems that Spectre may be capable of invisibility and even assassination-style melees. However, we’ll have to actually wait and see the Specialist in action to be sure.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s multiplayer beta will begin for Xbox One and PC on August 26th till August 30th. The game itself is out on November 6th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
