Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Free on Steam This Weekend, Double XP Event Announced

Activision and Treyarch are doing their best to get you to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 this weekend. If you don’t own the game, you can try out its multiplayer on Steam for free through the weekend.

If you do own the game, then rejoice further because a Double XP weekend will be going live on all platforms starting at 10 AM PST today. The Double XP bonus will apply to both classic multiplayer and Zombies mode. The experience buff is further encouraging for new players since it allows them to gain weapons, attachments and Specialists all the faster.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will have more to do in the coming weeks – the Awakening DLC will be coming to Xbox One and PC later in March, having arrived for PlayStation 4 recently. What are your thoughts on the free offer and Double XP weekend? Let us know in the comments.
