Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout_02

Another patch will be releasing this week for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and continues the developer’s crusade against armor. In Blackout, armor has always been a complaint, but patch 1.12 will reduce damage protection for armor across all levels. Level 3 armor specifically will require more armor plates to repair, and will not provide additional protection against melee and explosions.

PS4 players will be receiving a new limited time mode in Blackout, called Ambush. Players are armed with sniper rifles, launchers, and melee attacks only. Furthermore, the circle will continuously collapse, so you’re always on the move. Xbox One and PC players will still have Down But Not Out for another week until Ambush goes live.

Zombies players on PS4 will have something new today itself with the next Gauntlet. This one focuses on IX and is called “Vini, Vidi, Zombie!” Fight 30 rounds of the undead, complete different challenges, and compare scores with the best to see where you rank. Later this week, Zombies will receive five new weapons – the MP 40, Grav, Daemon 3XB, SWAT RFT, and KAP 45 – which can be accessed in the Mystery Box. The MP 40 and Grav can be unlocked by default in the Armory.
