Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Following the conclusion of its beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Treyarch has announced a number of changes that will be coming after feedback from the community. Expected changes – like Body Armour being nerfed – have been revealed, but the developer has a lot more in store too.

For instance, Fog of War will be changed. The full circle reveal area is being removed, with the player’s reveal area being more of a cone. This represents the player’s POV and can be blocked by objects. If you want the full circle reveal, then you need the Team Link perk.

As for Tac-Deploy, the duration under which it can remain active has been reduced, while its cooldown time has been increased. The number of spawns per use has been limited to 10 and there will be a reduced radius for spawning on it. Body Armour, meanwhile, will receive more explosive damage, and only slightly reduces the damage of each shot (as opposed to protecting against one bullet). Furthermore, kills on enemies wearing Body Armour grants an additional 25 points.

There are tons of changes in store, so one certainly can’t fault Treyarch for acting on feedback. Next up is the Blackout beta, which goes live on September 10th. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases in full on October 12th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
