Call of Duty Black Ops 7

Just when it seemed like Microsoft would end the Xbox Games Showcase with an unexpected reveal (The Evil Within 3), it announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. No release window was provided, but it occurs in 2035, and players will control David Mason following the events of Black Ops 2 and 6. Check out the first trailer below.

After touring the Guild and its robots and other weapons, Mason quickly dives into a digital world, eventually encountering Raul Menendez (or what seems to be a digitized version). Whatever is going on, Mason must work with his team, yet again, to combat this enemy who “weaponizes fear above all else.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. It will also launch on day one for Game Pass. Treyarch and Raven Software are teaming up once more, and an Xbox Wire post confirms a co-op campaign, new multiplayer maps and round-based Zombies. Stay tuned for more details and the “official reveal” this Summer, likely at Call of Duty NEXT.
