Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is currently in beta, being available to Xbox One, PS4 and PC players. This is technically the second weekend for the beta but it seems that weapons still take too much to level up. Considering attachments are locked behind level-ups, it becomes a problem for players.

Fortunately, Treyarch is addressing the same before more players enter via the open beta tomorrow. It confirmed that double XP and double weapon XP would go live today at 10 AM PT. This will be for all platforms and should help players experiment more, especially with additional weapons being added.

The beta is also worth checking out due to its inclusion of Fireteam: Dirty Bomb, a 40 player mode with 10 teams that’s about collecting Uranium and detonating dirty bombs on the map to hit the score limit. As for the full game, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out on November 13th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
