Infinity Ward’s multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will begin on October 14th for PS4 players, exactly one week earlier than for Xbox One. In the meantime, if you’re on PS4 and happened to pre-order, you can start pre-loading the game at “around” 11 AM PT/2 AM PT as per the game’s official Twitter.
Installation size hasn’t been revealed yet but we know that the beta will feature three different maps and Combat Rigs for players to try out. Modes include Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination and Defender with the last one essentially functioning as King of the Hill meets “keep away”. It’s a lot more fun than it sounds (hopefully).
The PS4 beta will begin at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET on October 14th and will end on October 17th. It will return alongside the Xbox One version on October 21st and will run until October 24th. PC players won’t have a beta this year.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is out on November 4th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
