Call of Duty is finally debuting on Game Pass this month, if a recent report is to be believed. Sources have indicated to Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) will arrive on the service in the latter half of July.
A potential announcement is allegedly coming later today, with the price increases to Game Pass reportedly meant to coincide. Microsoft announced recently that Game Pass Ultimate will increase in price from $16.99 to $19.99 monthly starting from July 10th. PC Game Pass will go from $9.99 to $11.99.
Xbox Game Pass Console will be replaced by Xbox Game Pass Standard at $14.99. It lacks day-one access to first-party titles, EA Play and specific titles in the Ultimate library, among other things. Given rumors of Microsoft considering future Call of Duty titles on “most versions” of Game Pass, the price increase and the reported addition of Modern Warfare 3 makes more sense.
Other Activision-published titles reportedly coming to Game Pass include Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
