Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer

An image courtesy of Twitter user @algebra_sloth showed up online revealing what could potentially be the logo for Activision’s upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The official Call of Duty Twitter account later acknowledged the leak with a tweet of its own not long afterward.

The leak was part of what appears to be promotional material for Monster Energy drink featuring Captain Price from the rebooted Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. It is worth noting that, while the official Call of Duty account has acknowledged the leak, it hasn’t quite outright confirmed it.

Activision had confirmed earlier this month that this year’s Call of Duty release would be a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Primarily developed by Sledgehammer, the game was originally slated to be a paid DLC release for last year’s game.

The company has also revealed that Operators, weapons, and bundles that have been released for Modern Warfare 2 so far will be carried over into this year’s game.
