Call of Duty: Vanguard – Zombies “Der Anfang” Detailed in Behind the Scenes Video

Following its debut trailer, Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch have revealed more details on the upcoming Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Vanguard. The first map that players will battle on is Der Anfang which has obscured sight-lines and piles of corpses. Check out the behind-the-scenes video below.

The new Dark Aether abilities are also revealed in the form of four artifacts bound to the player characters. Some of these abilities include ring of fire for harming any undead that get close and frost blast for slowing zombies with an icy storm. The overarching story sees players working with the four different Aether entities to take down the fifth, Kortifex the Deathless, who’s sealed off Stalingrad and helping the Nazis raise the dead.

Of course, the entities also have their own agendas which we’ll likely learn more about later. Call of Duty: Vanguard is out on November 5th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
