Recent leaks have claimed that a new Astro Bot game is going to be unveiled soon and released exclusively for PS5 later in the year.
A prominent leaker has claimed that the rumoured new DOOM game will be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase as a fully multiplatform title.
The first-person shooter was recently officially announced, and is set to have its full unveiling on June 9.
Developed for almost four years under the placeholder name "DOOM Year Zero," it allegedly occurs in a "medieval-inspired Doom world."
The game will allegedly be titled simply Astro Bot, and will be available for PlayStation 5, but not for PS VR2.
Both games are also expected to be shown off at the Xbox Games Showcase a day prior, on June 9.
The reported Chronicle project is in development with support from ILCA (which is working on the next Ace Combat) and ORCA.
The remake was announced back in 2021, since when updates on it have all but completely dried up.
The free-to-play shooter reportedly had one million unique players within the first 2.5 hours of launch, per Insider Gaming.
Firewalk Studios' (allegedly) Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired shooter will reportedly reveal some characters and gameplay "very soon."
Windows Central's Jez Corden reports "nostalgic announcements that should chase away the blues for classic Xbox 360 RPG fans."
The pandemic also reportedly affected Avalanche Studios' upcoming co-op shooter, announced in 2021 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Undead Labs' 2020-announced sequel will reportedly weave backstories for community members "more viscerally into gameplay."
A prominent leaker has said that though the rumoured Final Fantasy 9 Remake is indeed in the works, the alleged remake of its successor isn't real.
Though exact numbers aren't available, "No one in the know is disappointed with them," reports Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson.
There also reportedly no plans to close Ninja Theory "any time soon." Other projects in development include the experimental Project Mara.
Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero doesn't yet have an official announcement for its release date from publisher Bandai Namco.
The game has been in development since 2018 and was previously known as Citadel, a fresh leak has claimed.
Sony might be planning more forays into the portable gaming space, as per a journalist's fresh claims.
Though a second season of the acclaimed series is in production, an official premiere date is currently unknown.
