Microsoft has a number of major upcoming games officially announced under the Xbox Game Studios umbrella, if reports are to be believed, there are several more still that we don’t official know about, some of which are in the works at external studios that have partnered with Xbox.
One of these is, according to reports, in development at Certain Affinity. While the developer has largely been known as a support studio, it’s reportedly working on a new AAA IP inspired by Capcom’s Monster Hunter games, exclusively for Xbox.
While nothing has been officially announced, interestingly, a job ad posted by Certain Affinity for the position of senior graphics engineer mentions that the studio is working on a “new original IP”, while requirements in the job ad also list experience with AAA games and “development experience on Xbox consoles” (spotted by @klobrille on Twitter).
As per reports, this isn’t the only Xbox-exclusive project in the works at Certain Affinity. The studio is allegedly also working on a new multiplayer mode for Halo Infinite. Read more on that through here.
