The PC version exits early access next but console players won’t have to wait long to get their hands on The Farm 51’s Chernobylite. It arrives for Xbox One and PS4 on September 7th with a new trailer teasing the adventures that await in the Exclusion Zone. Check it out below.
Chernobylite is set 30 years after the infamous disaster at the nuclear plant and focuses on a physicist that returns to seek out his beloved, Tatiana. Though players will have to deal with hostile soldiers, including Stalkers that roam the zone, they can recruit teammates to their cause. Crafting equipment and weapons is the key to survival but keep in mind that any character can die with a wrong decision.
Not everything is as it seems with the main character either and his grip on reality may be tenuous at best. We’ll find out how the story pans out when Chernobylite releases on July 28th for PC. A release date is yet to be announced for the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions so stay tuned in the coming months.
