Concord Will be Fully Unveiled Soon, “Heavily Inspired” by Guardians of the Galaxy – Rumour

Amidst persistent rumours of an upcoming State of Play, it's now been claimed that Sony and Firewalk's multiplayer shooter will showcase gameplay footage soon.

Leaks of an upcoming State of Play presentation are continuing to gather pace, and if reports are anything to go by, it’s going to boast a strong lineup of games. Another one in that lineup in that leak is seemingly going to be first party title Concord, the PvP sci-fi multiplayer shooter developed by Firewalk Studios that was announced last May.

As per a report published by prominent leaker billbil-kun on Dealabs, Sony is set to fully unveil Concord soon, with the reveal allegedly bringing gameplay footage and details on the game’s roster of playable characters. Previously described as a game set in a vibrant sci-fi universe populated by colourful characters, as per billbil-kun, Concord is “heavily inspired” by Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy universe.

The leaker hasn’t been able to corroborate the aforementioned leaks of an imminent State of Play presentation, but if they’re accurate, it’s very likely that that’s where we’ll be seeing Concord’s gameplay debut.

Several other games have been rumoured for the State of Play showcase in recent days, including Death Stranding 2 (which will allegedly be subtitled On the Beach), remasters of Until Dawn and Sonic Generations, a VR-exclusive Metro game, and others like Rise of the Ronin, Judas, and Silent Hill 2.
