Control The Foundation_03

Remedy Entertainment’s Control will be receiving its first paid expansion, The Foundation, on March 26th. However, it will also receive a free update that adds some quality of life features and improvements. Check them out in the trailer below.

As detailed previously, the Shield Rush is a new ability that allows for creating a barrier of environmental objects and then dashing into foes. This allows for one to remain defensive without sacrificing movement. Other improvements include better map readability and a revamped abilities tree.

Those who want to experiment around with different abilities are also in luck – the update will allow for respeccing ability points. Nvidia DLSS 2.0 support is also being added for RTX GPU owners. As for The Foundation, it adds a new environment, new abilities and enemies, and a new story that’s several hours long. It’s out first for PS4 and PC on March 26th with Xbox One owners getting it on June 25th.
