Remedy Entertainment’s Control already made its mark on the current generation but it’s not stopping there. The surreal action adventure will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X as well. On Twitter, the developer noted that more details would be revealed at a “later date.”

Released in August 2019, Control follows Jesse Faden who travels to the Oldest House, the HQ for the Federal Bureau of Control. After taking over for the previous director, Jesse becomes involved in supernatural battles with an entity known as The Hiss. Along with utilizing the Service Weapon, which can alter its form, Jesse will use different powers like telekinesis to gain the advantage.

Control is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Releasing on Xbox Series X and PS5 makes sense, especially when both consoles support hardware-based ray-tracing (and the game looks incredible with GeForce RTX on PC). We can also likely expect improved performance, maybe support for 60 fps. So stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
