Remedy’s Control Resonant is out now, and for its first hotfix, the developer has reduced the health of most enemies and two Resonants, the Dancer and Deserter, to address early-game concerns. The amount of Falter required to stun them has also been reduced.
The maximum Strength of Aberrant and Dylan’s abilities has also increased and will now scale based on the number of upgrades. Long story short, more upgrades equals more damage. If that wasn’t enough, the hotfix also changes “Multiplier X percent” under Aberrant Strength to “Damage and Falter percent.” Build Power is also now calculated from “unlocked Combat Abilities, Aberrant forms/upgrades, Talents, and Core Upgrades” instead of “equipped Weapon Forms, Talents and Core Upgrades.”
Of course, if things feel too easy, you can always head into Assist Mode and adjust enemy health, damage and more. Head here for more details.
Those looking to respec – especially with how long it can take to unlock other Forms – the cost of Reset Items has been decreased. You’ll find more of them stocked at vendors and The Artist, the first Resonant fought in the prologue, now drops two instead of one.
Control Resonant is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. You can check out our review here – we scored it a nine out of ten, praising the action RPG elements, art direction, and combat alongside the characterization.
