We’re less than 24 hours away from Gamescom 2026, and a little under a month away from Control Resonant’s September 24th release. But if recent previews haven’t been enough, Remedy’s all set to give us a fresh look at Dylan Faden’s upcoming exit from The Oldest House and into the streets of Manhattan, which is in the midst of a paranatural disaster unlike anything before, at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Airing on August 25th at 11 AM PST, it should showcase more of his seriously cool moves and superpowers, if not all the different ways the world will do its best to counter his advance. Some enemies demand all the strength he can muster to take down, and that’s not even factoring in the bosses Remedy seems quite excited about. We’re especially eager to try those gravity-defying traversal mechanics as he tries to make sense of a world that goes against conventional understanding.
With a 30-hour playtime for the “core experience” pointing to it being packed with intense action and a story to keep you coming back to it, it’s hard not to be excited about Control Resonant ahead of its launch. It will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
