Control’s Newest Trailer Warns Us Of Unknown Forces and Leaking Dimensions

Control’s newest trailer welcomes us to The Oldest House.

Remedy’s next game promises to take the time bending shenanigans of Quantum Break and push them to the next level. Control has looked great since its debut at E3 earlier this year, and the newest trailer for the game, which you can see for yourself below, makes the premise of the title seem that much more intriguing.

The trailer introduces us to a building called The Oldest House. The Oldest House is a building that, while ordinary looking on the outside, sees all physical laws of reality break down inside. Causality breaks down, and dimensions begin leaking into each other, in rooms that are called thresholds. The trailer’s narrator, Zachariah Trench of the Federal Bureau of Control, notes that there is a connection between our minds and the unknown supernatural forces in the game—though the specifics are left to our imagination.

Personally, the premise seems great to me. Remedy is known for some top notch writing, and I can’t wait to see their newest take on a science fiction thriller. Control launches in 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you are looking forward to the game, make sure to check out these new gorgeous 4K screenshots for it.
