Toys for Bob and Activision unveiled Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time yesterday, a brand new title in the franchise with new worlds, powers, and much more. However, it only confirmed its release for Xbox One and PS4. What about PC, or even Nintendo Switch?

Activision didn’t comment on the absence of either version. But a representative has told PCGamesN, “We are still evaluating additional platforms for a future date. Stay tuned for more information.” This could mean that it possibly releases later for PC and/or Nintendo Switch. Conversely, it could mean releases for Xbox Series X and PS5 before either of the other two.

Considering how well Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy did, it’s interesting to see only two platforms at launch for Crash Bandicoot 4. Regardless, additional platforms could be added in a shorter time-frame, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is out on October 2nd for Xbox One and PS4. Along with a new story and multiple new worlds, there are multiple playable characters like Crash, Coco, and Doctor Neo Cortex.
