Later tonight, The Game Awards will be packed with new showings and announcements for a number of titles, with the likes of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Tekken 8, Final Fantasy 16, and many others confirmed as part of the event’s lineup. Another franchise that might be joining them on the stage is Crash Bandicoot.
Teases and reports over recent weeks have suggested that a new Crash Bandicoot game is set to be announced at The Game Awards, and the series’ official Twitter page has added fuel to the fire. A tweet that recently went up read “what’s everyone doing tomorrow”, with The Game Awards producer and host Geoff Keighley cheekily responding, “Hosting The Game Awards, HBU?”
If leaks are to be believed, Crash Bandicoot 4 developers Toys for Bob is working on a 4v4 multiplayer brawler titled Crash Wumpa League, for which early development and gameplay details were recently leaked. Whether that is the game that ends up getting announced today (if something does get announced, that is) remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more updates.
So… what's everyone doing tomorrow?
