Crash Bandicoot is Coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Rumor

Challenger Pack 6 will apparently feature another platforming legend.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

The reveal of the latest Challenger Pack fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate had some people happy, others fairly bitter. Director Masahiro Sakurai announced Fighters Pass Vol. 2 though which contains six Challenger Packs. All fighters have apparently been determined already so who could end up making the cut?

Back in October 2019, Twitter user MandyCan predicted who the fifth Challenger Pack fighter would be. Around the same time, they predicted that Crash Bandicoot would be the next DLC character. While flying below the radar at the time, everyone has started paying attention to these so-called “leaks” now that the fifth Challenger Pack has been confirmed.

In response, MandyCan said, “I only direct messaged a couple of people about it because I did not know if it was legit or not. I did not want to become ‘out there’ until Crash officially came to be with the other info.” They then said this would be their last leak until Crash was officially revealed in the next Challenger Pack.

To be fair, predicting Challenger Pack 5 could have been a lucky guess and nothing more. We’ve seen a number of predictions fall flat over the past several months, after all (like Dante from Devil May Cry). That being said, there’s always a possibility that it could be true. So take things with a grain of salt for now.
