It had to happen. I mean how long will Sony allow players to play free on the servers? Shuhei Yoshida finally confirmed that in order to play online, you need to have a PS+ subscription. The investment will open many new ways to play and connect and will help Sony add new features in the system. On a side note, if you don’t have a PS+ subscription then you should get one. It is that good.
