Microsoft’s new privacy statement revealed that the Kinect will collect data, but that this data would be stored on the console and wiped out once your game session ends. As such, it would be represented by a string of numbers that wouldn’t mean anything to anyone if actually collected. This also applies to facial recognition. However, Microsoft also revealed that game chat, be it by voice or through messages, would not be private. Is this a part of the new Reputation System, thus allowing Microsoft to monitor for trolls?
