Cronos The New Dawn_02

Reviews have gone live for Bloober Team’s Cronos: The New Dawn, a third-person sci-fi survival horror channeling Dead Space and Resident Evil. Those who purchase the Deluxe Edition can play it now, but for everyone else, there’s an action-packed launch trailer to build hype before its worldwide release. Check it out below.

Cronos: The New Dawn unfolds in a post-apocalyptic future after an event known as The Change. Humanity mainly consists of Cronenbergian horrors, and scant survivors abound. As one of the Travellers, your job is to locate rifts and travel back in time, harvesting the Essence of important individuals at the behest of the Collective.

Or not, if you so choose. Depending on those choices, different endings become available. Nevertheless, if you’re seeking to explore a mostly linear campaign with plenty of horrors and action, it may be worth checking out.

Cronos: The New Dawn launches on September 5th worldwide for Standard Edition owners on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Check out our feature for everything you should know.
