Smilegate brings its uber-popular multiplayer tactical shooter to consoles at last with CrossfireX. Available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, it features some new maps, changes to the Legendary Mercenaries system (along with new additions to the roster) and much more. Check out the release trailer below.

Of course, the most noteworthy new addition is the campaign by Remedy Entertainment of Alan Wake and Control fame. It features two Operations – Operation Catalyst and Operation Spectre – each consisting of multiple missions. While the game is available on Xbox Game Pass, only Operation Catalyst is playable for subscribers.

To play the second Operation, you’ll need to purchase the Ultimate Pack which includes the multiplayer component, Season 1 Premium Battle Pass and both Operations for $30.
