Publisher Devolver Digital has revealed details about new content coming to Cult of The Lamb. The content will be part of an update titled Relics of the Old Faith, and doesn’t yet have a release date.
The update will bring with it a new post-game storyline, revamped enemies and boss encounters, and remixed dungeons and encounters. Among its features, the update also promises a deeper combat system, presumably with new abilities and weapons at the player’s disposal.
The update was originally teased back in Janaury with the reveal that the game will be adding in the ability for players to use heavy attacks with their weapons. These heavy attacks were varied in effect depending on the player’s weapons of choice.
Cult of the Lamb was originally released back in August 2022, making a big impact by selling a million copies in its first week. The game has since gotten quite a few updates, including many event-based updates like the Blood Moon Festival for Halloween.
Cult of the Lamb is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
