With CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 slated to release in about two weeks, some may feel concerned about another potential delay. After all, the open world FPS/RPG was delayed from its previous November 19th release date even after going gold. Nevertheless, in its recent consolidated financial results for the Q3 fiscal year 2020, the developer has assured it’s release is still indeed December 10th.

Another interesting statistic is the $28 million in revenue generated in the quarter thanks primarily to “sales of games from The Witcher universe” as per CFO Piotr Nielubowicz. Then again, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt managed to drive the company’s revenue up by 70 percent for the first half of 2020 with its Switch release. So it’s probably not all that surprising to see it doing well.

As for Cyberpunk 2077, it’s out on December 10th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia with support for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 at launch.
