CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is being showcased publicly at PAX Australia this weekend. Some new gameplay was showcased courtesy of publisher Bandai Namco and GameSpot got to see an interesting new ability. It’s called “Demon Software” and can make your foes attack themselves.

We say “themselves” because it’s possible to hack an enemy’s cybernetic arm with the ability and watch it attack them. What does it look like when hacking legs or other weaponized cybernetic parts? One has to think this would be a good trolling ability against all kinds of NPCs, if not just enemies.

The Nano Wire was also showcased, though we’ve seen it in gameplay footage by now. It essentially allows for hacking into various things or people, though you can use it for attacking as well. Stay tuned for more information from PAX Australia, including a possible new gameplay demo that could be released later.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases on April 16th 2020 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
