NetEase Games promised a new character trailer for Marvel Rivals after dropping its latest Developer Vision video, and it stars Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch. As a Duelist who can channel fire and engulf his entire body in flames, he remains in the air like Storm and Iron Man, dishing out red-hot damage. Check out some of his skills below.
At a glance, Human Torch can throw out projectiles from the air and dive onto enemies, dealing burst damage and knocking back foes. His shots linger on the ground, and by activating a separate ability, he can link them while accelerating his fire rate.
Johnny’s Ultimate sees him going full “Flame On” and throwing fire tornadoes against opponents. If Storm is on your team, their Team-Up allows her Ultimate to take on blazing properties for even more area denial.
Human Torch launches with the second half of Season 1 alongside The Thing on February 21st.
