Cyberpunk 2077 has easily been one of the most controversial games of the past few years, owing to its numerous bugs and poor performance at launch. CD Projekt RED has patched it over time, alleviating a good number (but not all) of the issue and it even managed to return to the PlayStation Store last week. Of course, Sony provided a disclaimer stating that the PS4 isn’t the best console to play it on.

Despite this, CD Projekt joint CEO Adam Kiciński feels that the team has reached a “satisfying level” in terms of performance. Speaking at the WSE Innovation Day conference (via TVN24 and translation by VGC), Kiciński says that the studio can now work on improving other elements. Most of the company, comprised of 600 employees, is still working on the title at this point.

“We have also been working on improving the overall quality, which we are also quite happy about. Of course, we also removed bugs and visual glitches and we will continue to do that. Over time, we will also be introducing improvements to the general game systems that players have highlighted.” The developer is also working on updates to support the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 along with free DLC (though an updated roadmap for the same hasn’t been provided).

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. Check out our review of the base console version here and the base PC version here.
