Gfk’s top ten for the best-selling physical titles in the UK for the week ending September 23rd is now available. As reported by Games Industry’s Christopher Dring on Twitter, Mortal Kombat 1 debuted on top, while NEOWIZ’s Lies of P took third place. The former saw the most sales on PS5, with Xbox Series X/S in second and Nintendo Switch last.

Despite its many problems, Payday 3 debuted in seventh place, selling significantly higher on PS5 than on Xbox Series X/S. However, perhaps more noteworthy is Cyberpunk 2077, which re-entered the top ten, going from 21st place to sixth as sales increased by 163 percent. Price promotions before the launch of Phantom Liberty contributed to this, and given the hype around the expansion and the recent Update 2.0, it’s understandable.

Other noteworthy shifts include The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom falling to ninth place, its first time since launch. The Crew Motorfest saw sales drop by 57 percent as it went from second to 11th place, while Starfield dropped to 19th place, as sales fell by 41 percent week-on-week. Check out the full top ten below.
