Whether or not CD Projekt RED’s upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 will have a New Game Plus option is something that’s been a question for a while not. We’ve had indications in the recent past that the option will indeed be included in the game, but now, we’ve got a concrete confirmation as well.
That comes to us from Polish magazine PSX XTREME (via Reddit), who recently met with the developers of the upcoming RPG and wrote up an extensive article containing loads of new information they learned about the game. That article also confirms that New Game Plus is going to be a thing in Cyberpunk 2077, and that the developers are currently working on it. Whether or not it will be available at launch – or whether it will be added in after launch like with The Witcher 3 – isn’t something that was confirmed, but seeing as there’s still many months to go before the game releases, it’s likely that it’ll be in the game when it comes out.
CD Projekt RED have recently been releasing a lot of details on Cyberpunk 2077, from its flexible gameplay mechanics, to the extensive customization options, to new details on progression, dialogue choices, and lots more. Later this month, a gameplay demo will also be shown to the public at Gamescom, so we’ll likely be learning a lot more soon. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for all the latest coverage.
