Cyberpunk 2077 is, first and foremost, going to be an RPG, but when it comes to the immediate gameplay during combat, it’s going to function as a first person shooter. And so, questions you’d normally associate with a first person shooter have been asked about Cyberpunk 2077 quite frequently. Questions such as- is Cyberpunk 2077 going to have dual wielding?

The answer to that question in particular is no. Responding to a fan on Twitter, CD Projekt RED’s global community lead Marcin Momot confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t allow players to wield and use two weapons at the same time, which is a little bit disappointing. Hopefully, the game will make up for that in other ways- giving players endless options in any given situation definitely seems to be a focus for CDPR, so that will hopefully be more than enough to curb any disappointment about the lack of dual wielding.

Cyberpunk 2077 will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 19, and will be coming to Stadia later in the year. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will be releasing in 2021/
