If you couldn’t get enough of the cel-shaded, action-adventure acid-trip that is Access Games’ D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die, then you’re in luck: a new speaker session at GDC Next this November will see the director Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro himself talking about the development behind the game for Xbox One.

The focus will primarily be on working with Kinect and the challenge of implementing sensory experiences. Since D4 promises to rely on the motion camera in different unique ways, and not just in the typical swiping motions, it will give a little more insight into how the gameplay works as well. The talk, titled “D4: Dawn of the Dreaming Director’s Drama” will be a part of the “GDC Next 10” lineup, meant specifically for unreleased, innovative titles.

As of now, D4 doesn’t have a release date. Maybe that’s one of the details Suehiro will be sharing “as professionally as possible”? Stay tuned for more.
