Dark Souls 2 artwork released, environments, weapons and characters displayed

Have a look inside.

From Software has released a bunch of artwork images for their upcoming action-RPG, Dark Souls 2. It’s exactly the kind of stuff you’d expect to- and like to, as a fan- see in a Dark Souls/Demon’s Souls/whatever game with dark, gritty atmospheres, brutal looking weapons and some really good looking character models.

Well, it’s still only artwork though, and considering even the new trailer didn’t show off in game footage, we’d like to get our hands on some screenshots. From Software has promised “photorealistic” visuals for the game, though.

You can get all the artwork below.

Dark Souls 2’s new director has been making comments about making the game more accessible recently, and it’s got fans worried. We even wrote an editorial about it, which you can read here. However, the guy who handled the development of the original Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls wants to assure people that Dark Souls 2 will still remain true to the core of the franchise.
