From Software’s Dark Souls 2 is now accepting beta sign-ups, with registration now open on the PlayStation Network in Europe. Announced via the Official PlayStation Blog EU, players can opt in to test the game ahead of its Spring 2014 release.

Simply register and then download a Beta Registration Ticket from the Store. You’ll be able to find it under the Games section under Latest Releases. Namco Bandai has confirmed that the first round of the beta will begin in North America, Europe and Australasia on October 12th with the second round due on October 27th.

Dark Souls 2 is From Software’s sequel to the original hardcore dungeon-crawling experience, and features revamped graphics and animation with a new directorial debut at the helm. It will take place in new environments that are now destructible, with new enemies including optional bosses for the player to take on, along with some balances to the fighting mechanics. Dark Souls 2 releases on March 14th 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
