At present it appears that super-heavy units like the Imperial Knight and the Morkanaught will have both a ranged variant and a close combat one. We don’t yet know if you’ll be able to select both as two of your three elite unit choices, but you will at least have the option to obliterate you enemies from a safe distance, or to cut a bloody swath through them.
