Even in light of mixed reception, Sony’s Days Gone has continued to sell strongly globally, and in the latest Japanese video game software and hardware sales charts for the week ending May 12 – as provided by Famitsu – it’s topped charts yet again, just as it did last week. It sold nearly 12,000 copies during the week.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was in second place last week, and that is where it still remains, with sales of over 10,000 copies. Following in third place is fellow Nintendo Switch exclusive Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, up from fifth place, with over 8,000 units sold. In fact, barring Minecraft for the Switch in third place, all the other games in the top 10 are first part Switch exclusives, including the likes of Splatoon 2, Pokemon Let’s Go, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Party, and Yoshi’s Crafted World.

On the hardware front, there’s not much change. The Switch, as always, is the highest selling system of the week, with nearly 42,000 units sold, while the PS4 moved 15,000 units. Incidentally, this is also the week that confirms the Switch officially passing the PS4’s lifetime sales in Japan.

You can check out the full software and hardware charts below.
