Days Gone launched with a number of technical issues, ranging from minor visual bugs to audio issues to issues that flat out prevent progression in several cases. To the credit of developers SIE Bend Studio though, they’ve been hard at work fixing all those issues with a steady stream of patches ever since the game’s launch less than a month ago.

Now, another new patch, 1.08, has been rolled out, and it brings with it fixes a number of mission progression bugs, as well as some audio issues. The issue that often saw players unable to save, fast travel, or pause after the cinematic of the mission “I’ve Had Better Days” had been triggered has been addressed. Another issue that prevented players from being able to complete the mission “Afraid of a Little Competition?” has been fixed. Finally, the progression issue for the mission “Searching For Lisa” has also been fixed.

You can take a look at the full patch notes below. Days Gone is currently available on PS4. Despite somewhat mixed reception, the game has been able to perform impressively on sales charts on a consistent basis, in both Japan and the UK.

PATCH NOTES:

Progression Issues

  • Fixed an issue where players wouldn’t be able to save, fast travel, or pause after triggering the cinematic to “I’ve Had Better Days”

  • Fixed the issue that prevented players from completing ”Afraid of a Little Competition?”. Players may need to move as far back to where the Bounty Collector Merchant resides and return to the mission objective to trigger the cinematic

  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to complete “Searching For Lisa”. Players that were impacted will now see the Mission Complete screen

General Fixes

  • Audio desync issue during cinematics have been resolved
