Bend Studio’s Days Gone Remastered offers several new features and content, but the star is perhaps Horde Assault. The new arcade-like mode sees players battling larger, progressively tougher Freaker hordes, attempting to survive for as long as possible. A new trailer is available to showcase the sheer tsunami of Freakers that players will deal with – check it out below.
The trailer highlights other playable characters like Boozer, O’Brian, Iron Mike, and even a NERO soldier. You can also briefly spot the positive and negative Injectors, which confer different effects like Fragile Weapons, which makes weapons break more easily but offers a 10 percent score increase.
Others like Unlimited Fuel, Rationing (chance for Medkits not to be consumed) and Exploding Freakers will provide a better chance at survival at the cost of reducing your final score. Whether purely for fun or reaching a high score, Horde Assault looks like chaotic fun.
